Some ideas are too explanatory for a paper and too substantial for a short post. This section is where I want to develop them carefully, with definitions, examples, and enough context to stand on their own.

Writing principle
Make the note useful without the conversation that produced it.
Mathematical notes should define their objects, state assumptions, and explain notation. Research notes should distinguish established results from interpretation and work still in progress.
